Joe is a conductor, composer and cultural leader based in Staffordshire. As the Founder, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra, he is passionate about building a thriving musical culture in the area and bringing orchestral music to new audiences.
A versatile and accomplished musician, Joe’s varied career includes orchestral and theatrical conducting, composition for media and concert performance and high-level arts leadership. His work is driven by a belief that music has the power not only to entertain and inspire, but also to strengthen communities and contribute to meaningful and lasting cultural regeneration within a place.
